Very Professional and Caring Satff

Labor and Delivery is rewarding and a lot of times quite stressful. Depending on the staff of the day, a stressful day can either be hectic or run smoothly with everyone working well together, knowing what needs to be done and getting it done.Sometimes there are a few that don't do well in hectic/STAT situations and can throw the whole group into a frenzy. The manager is actually one of those people, her negativity and frustration rub off on others making things worse. The hardest part of the job is when a baby is stillborn or has a hard delivery and needs intubation and CPR, STAT transfer because our nursery is only level 1.The most enjoyable part of my job is helping and seeing those beautiful babies come into the world and the look on a new mom and dads faces, it is priceless. Also I am very lucky to work with some of the most professional and caring nurses in the field. I can't say enough about them, they are amazing and a joy to work with.
