Good place to begin RN career

Most work days were very busy..I have learned several skills and have improved in them over the years. Work well with others. The hardest part of my job and not having alot of time with my patients, not being able to help some of them when they have a terminal illness, death(I still cry with the families).I have always enjoyed helping others and nursing has been my dream since I was 4 years old.

long hours, hard work

The 12 hour shifts were difficult but being that healthcare is a booming business in today's economy it was definitely job security. I enjoyed the patients for the most part. I learned a lot about the healthcare field.

Great place to work, low RN pay

I loved Morristown Hamblen and will always be appreciative of that job and all the people there. The atmosphere at Morristown Hamblen is like a family and they care about each employee. Through no fault of MHHS, the pay is very low compared to the national scale and the benefits are o.k. with Humana.
