N Who manages ventilators: Respiratory Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: (For example: Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; EKGs; Transports; Weaning; Nebulizer to Inhaler; Starting IVs, performing venipuncture, Performing EKGs; Discontinuing sheaths) All vasoactive infusions, blood, IV insulin, TPA. Performs conscious sedation, 12 Lead EKGs, cares for central lines and deliver nebulized medications. Additional Unit Specific Information: Staff is friendly. ER goes to all outpatient areas response codes ICU goes to all in patient codes. Triage uses ESI system, 5 tiers. Traveler will be oriented to triage to see system. There is a fast track that is open 0800-midnight, will adjust according to pt. volume. High volume of behavioral health patients. Use sitters and E Sitters. Could have 4 behavioral health patients/day with 4 sitters. RNs should have strong experience with patients in the Emergency Department. Interview should discuss benchmarks and initiatives. Community setting 10-15% Pedi patients, RN should have a comfort level with Pediatrics: IV starts, Foleys, etc. Security office and community police posting in ED. FOR Tiffany Fallin rebook** 2023 Orientation Dates: Location are every Monday ** Any Candidate under a 50-mile radius is considered a Local HCP and will be offered at the LOCAL BILL RATE of $85** ER RN- min. 3 yrs exp. No self scheduling, Every other weekend. Holidays as needed. No on call requirement ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC required. Full covid vaccination or medical declination with doctor authorization required at time of sub or file will be dropped. MD/Compact Lic required verified through current NURSYS at time of submission. CEN preferred. Prior travel strongly preferred. 280+ bed facility, 65 bed Dept. Ratio 1:4, 3 days of orientation. Attire: Navy scrubs, natural nails. EPIC. Floating not required but could assist in the 5 bed locked psych unit in the ED. Pat pop: Stroke, sepsis, CAD, COPD, HTN, DM, Pedi, and General illness, Opiate abuse, Stemi, Travelers do not triage. ******UMMs will not accept professionals that have attended one of these schools identified by the DOJ. These include: Siena College in Broward County, Fla, Palm Beach School of Nursing in Palm Beach County, Fla, Sacred Heart International Institute in Broward County, Sunshine Academy, Quisqeya School of Nursing, Quisqeya Healthcare Academy, Florida College of Health, Ideal Professional Institute and Med Life.
