MED SURG - ORDER DESCRIPTION BILL RATE $110.00 COVID UNIT D/N Rotation ONLY - 36 or 48hrs/wk Mostly all medical variety of patients as opposed to surgical. Patients with acute or chronic illness such as: sepsis, various infectious processes, acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), diabetes, GI issues, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, heart disease, skin/wound issues, acute and chronic respiratory illness including COPD, flu, pneumonia, and Cystic Fibrosis. DH is a nationally recognized CF center and the adult patients requiring admission come to Medical Specialties. (1 East = 36 beds) (2/3 East = 25 beds) LNA ratios to patients- 7:1, 8:1, 9:1, 10:1 depending on pod they are on RN Patient ratios on days and nights 3:1 4:1 and some RN’s in 5:1 on nights (3:1 is based on geography on 2/3 East, we do use it to our advantage and place more acute patients there when able) - Yvonne J.

Patient population is primarily the elderly but can be as young as 18.   RN Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1, depending on patient acuity.   MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 1.5YRS OF RECENT EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.   Required Experience:   * Telemetry   Required Credentials:   * NH * RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) * BLS

ICU - ICU RN Needed for Late May/Early June Start - *Nights*   Cheshire Medical Center’s unit for critical care nursing is a 10-bed suite, focused on caring for and supporting patients and their families while using advanced technological systems and tools to monitor and treat critical illnesses. You will find each patient room equipped with an electric therapeutic bed, emergency call system, cardiac monitoring with additional monitoring modules, wall mounted documentation station, and access to other critical care equipment needs. Patient population includes critically unstable patients exhibiting everything from acute coronary syndrome to unstable hemodynamics.   Our goal is to provide optimum 24-hour critical care nursing to medical/surgical patients that demonstrate unstable vital functions requiring specialized treatment and supportive measures. The MSCU will care primarily for medically complex patients on the hospital medicine service. As a building block in terms of patient acuity, as well as professional development, to our 61-bed medicine unit, we are poised to provide a dynamic learning and team based environment for both new and experienced care providers. Inpatient medicine cares for patients of all ages and diagnoses with complex patient needs and high acuity as our specialty.   RN Patient ratios: 3:1 both days and nights   Charge nurse typically takes no assignment. There are 2 nursing assistants on the unit.   MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 1.5YRS OF RECENT EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.   Required Experience: -      Chest tubes -      Tubes -      Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone -      CPAP/BiPAP -      Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients -      Trachs/Laryngectomies -      Telemetry -      Complex wounds -      Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws -      Step down experience   Preferred Experience: -       Arterial line management   Required Credentials: -      NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) -      BLS

Med/SURG - ORDER DESCRIPTION MedSurg Float Pool Position - D/N Rotation ONLY   The MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT) will float between all MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will be working ED and PACU borders. In addition, Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required.   Float units include – - 1 East - 1 West - 2 West - 2&3 East - 3 West - 4 West - 5 West - ED - PACU   MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 2YRS OF RECENT EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.   Previous Float experience HIGHLY PREFERRED.   Required Experience: - Chest tubes - Tubes - Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients - Trachs/Laryngectomies - Telemetry - Complex wounds - Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws   Required Credentials: - NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) - BLS (AHA Only)   Shift: Day/Night Rotation, 36 or 48hrs/wk

L&D - L&D RN Needed for Late May/Early June Start - Nights and 36hrs/wk ONLY   WACHU, as it is known, is equipped with four labor rooms, one operating room, and separate facilities for postpartum patients. The unit offers hydrotherapy for pain management in labor, includes a nursery for infant testing or post-resuscitation care, and even has its own negative pressure room.   MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 1.5YRS OF RECENT EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.   Shift: - 12hr Shifts - 36hrs/wk   Required Credentials: - NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) - BLS

ICU - BILL RATE - RN Needed for NCCU/SICU! 36 or 48hrs   NCCU: 10 Bed Critical Care. Primary Stroke Center (Ischemic - Thrombectomy, TPA, Hemorrhagic – Ventriculostomies & Emergent Evac), Neuro Surgery (tumor resections, brain/spine abscesses) Neuro-Medical (Meningitis, Encephalitis, Neuro-muscular disorders). Only Neuro Critical Care Unit in Northern New England.   SICU: 18 bed ICU with surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure and sepsis patients   Required Experience (Critical Care) - - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring - ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU) - Ventilated patients iv. Pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications v. Assist with line insertion and maintenance vi. Lines /tubes/ drains for post surgical patients - Ventriculostomies, Lumbar Drains, Bolts, EVD - PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)   Required Certs - - BLS - ACLS
