IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW Facility has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 2/28/2024. We manage GI issues such as pancreatitis, bleeding, gastroparesis, inflammatory bowel diseases. We also manage infections such as pneumonia, cellulitis, sepsis, UTI, c-diff, etc. We may also care for patients with neurological issues such as stroke, dementia, traumatic brain injuries. We also have patients with mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc. Our patients will undergo procedures such as colonoscopies, thora and paracentesis, bronchoscopy, and minor surgeries (lap chole, incision and drainage, biopsies, amputation). General job duties. Types of procedures required. General Medical Surgical nursing care. Skills and tasks required would be assessments, care planning, inter-professional communication, utilization of the EHR, IV pumps, wound vacs, heat/cooling pads, feeding pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, management of heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy management. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
