Job Details: * 13 week assignment * 8 hour day shift 7a-3:30p * Weekly gross $2,600 Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation, setup, and operation of cardiac catheterization equipment and monitoring devices. * Administer medications and IVs as required during cardiac catheterization procedures. * Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, making immediate assessments and interventions when necessary. * Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding the cardiac catheterization procedure and recovery. * Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Maintain accurate patient records and document all aspects of care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. * Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment in the cath lab. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiac care. * Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed. Qualifications: * Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of license. * BLS and ACLS certification. * Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 5 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred. * Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. * Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development.
