But when a new schedule is published they could rotate to the opposite shift they were on OR could even stay on the same shift. The managers do their best to accommodate the travelers shift preference but please let your travelers know they need to be flexible and would be expected to work days and nights within the 13 week contract. 12 D/N rotation/weekends/holidays and flexible with 12 hour variable shifts - days/nights are required. Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays. Return Staff: Permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel. DNR / Rehire Eligibility: Rady Children s and Children s Hospital of Orange County have merged to form Rady Children s Health. Any clinician who is a DNR for CHOC will not be considered for Rady. Eligibility for a cancelled CHOC traveler to submit to Rady must be reviewed by Rady leadership.
