Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility. **RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post** Required: CA License 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment PEDS Cardiac exp Heart transplant experience Willing to float between units BLS PALS Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center. Shifts: (discussed in interview) 3x12 variable shifts 13 week contracts Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) Must be available to work holidays - 4th of July and Memorial Day weekend coverage needed*Self scheduling! Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD s and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23.
