Not all travel nurse assignments are created equal. However, generally speaking, travelers can have flexibility to choose their destinations, the companies they work for, and what sort of housing they would like. Although assignments are contractual obligations, they are brief enough that it's no stress if you find that you don't really like the particular position. Being a travel nurse is like being a guest-star at a facility and like getting to go on vacation for approximately 13 weeks at a time.
