A travel nurse must have an RN degree, after obtaining that degree you can then choose a specialization. Most medical facilities require 2-3 years of experience but some do hire with only one year, it depends on the facility that you are going to work in. A certificate in the N-CLEX or nursing boards is required. A travel nurse needs to be flexible with great communication skills that will meet the needs of their patients.
