There really isn't a "typical" day for travel nurses because there is always something going on. Your shifts can range any where from six to eight to ten or twelve hour shifts depending on the medical facility that you work in. Wherever you are staying during your travel nursing job, once your shift for the day is over you can go sight seeing or hang in at home. There really is no such thing as a typical day for travel nursing because it is truly a profession for adventure and there is always something new and exciting happening while on assignment.
