Rehab Nurse

Nice place to work.Friendly atmosphere and great co-workers.Spotless facility!Only drawback-Shift work which sometimes had low census situations during my time in this position.

Overall all the hospital is trying to make a difference, but, management issues are outdated.

The typical day is vital signs every 4 hours, blood sugars twice a shift, changing patients (beds and person). Answer nurses with abnormal observations. While also answering patients and restocking supplies.

Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The team work and positive atmosphere make my job more enjoyable. My supervisors will help if our floor becomes busy. Overall my experience working here is a positive and team work is usually great.

Hunt Regional is a small hospital with a large heart

Hunt Regional is very much like the TV show Cheers. Everyone knows your name. It is like a family. The hardest part of the work at Hunt Regional is probably the same as any other hospital. At times the patients or their families do not want to follow sound medical advice and continue on their unhealthy paths.
