I’ve been traveling for 2 years, an RN for 13 years, and this is the worst hospital I have worked at on almost every level. Patient care and staffing are abysmal, management is in constant upheaval and basically nonexistent. The culture of the med/tele unit is like I’ve never seen before- such incredible apathy and lack of basic human decency. I have spoken to my recruiter, my travel agancy CNO, and the unit manager. I tried to speak with the house supervisor today, but was so tired after my 14 (!) hour shift, I couldn’t see straight. Bottom line is I would rather lose a contract than lose my license. No joke.
