Loved the atmosphere and family feel

I worked on 4R mostly. They were a great team. I did float to all the other units if we weren't busy. However, we were like a family there. We also helped each other with each others patients - work load. Great support system. There was amazing structure and compassion for the patients - therefore I could be myself!! I miss working with them but It has all changed so much. Life happens!! Ppmc is an amazing hospital, great for learning, and I helped them become a magnet hospital the first time ever!! I'm honored to say I was a part of them and of making that possible!! It was well deserved!!Before I left they took away the CNA'S which made our jobs much more difficult, therefore quality time with patients was severely decreased.. I loved spending time with the patients. Why I became a nurse to begin with..
