Working with the elderly was so rewarding

As far as my job, I loved it. I got to help elderly people who had strokes, surgery on knees,hips,etc.. It was a great feeling to see these patients get better and go home.I've learned so much about how to help my patients use better body mechanics. What a good feeling to see someone who couldn't walk, to start walking. I tried to keep them as pain free as possible so that they were able to do therapy.I was very lucky to have had such wonderful coworkers. We were a team. The most enjoyable part of my job was my patients. I loved them all. Even the little cranky ones.It was such a challenge to win them over. Most of the time I did.The hardest part of my job was losing a patient. Thankfully, that didn't happen that often. When I started there it was a great place to work. Unfortunately , changes in administration caused a drastic downward turn. When starting it felt like I was part of a family. After changes, we were treated like children instead of professionals .

PROVIDED GREAT NURSING CARE

I WOULD CHARGE AND TAKE MY OWN TEAM OF PATIENTS. I HAVE STRENGTHENED MY TELEMETRY INTERPRETATION SKILLS THROUGH THIS JOB. I LOVE THE PEOPLE I WORKED WITH.

productive and hospitable

i love going to AMMC to do my clinicals. The nurses i worked with were very professional and were able to answer my questions. they also tried there hardest to make every patient they had pain free (if needed), worry free, and highly educated on there illness.
