Excellent place to work and for learning.

Having very minimal experience in stroke, working at Long Island Jewish Medical Center was the toughest job for me in the beginning. I put a lot of reading time and practice to make sure that I am on the right tract. However,it gave me the opportunity to become an expert in the field. Every second counts when it comes to stroke and distuinguishing real stroke from stroke mimicks makes a difference in early patient management. To my eye, the Neurologists are the best and I am thankful to be one of their team members. As the Stroke Coordinator, I have collarated with the Nusring Education Department regarding staff education, help develop our policy, daily patient rounds.Seeing improvent for patients who recieved the IV-t-PA gives makes me feek good making a difference in one's life.
