Way back in the 70s, a couple of nurses got together to form a company that allowed nurses like themselves to always be in control of their own careers. They worked hard to build partnerships with hospitals and healthcare facilities in all 50 states who needed nurses to fill vacancies. Over the following decades, other nurses started similar companies and many of them eventually merged together under the Cross Country Healthcare umbrella.
