Essential responsibilities: Directs and coordinates, the activities of the departments. (Cath Lab/EP/Pre and Post Recovery area) Evaluates, develops and implements process improvements to enhance safety and quality outcomes. Responsible for the hiring, promoting, discharging and transferring of employees. Responsible for scheduling and staffing needs of the units 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Arranges appropriate in-services and continuing education programs to meet the needs of the staff in each departmental area. Ensure the proficiency of the staff in each of the departmental areas. Tracks, monitors and reports trends in quality outcomes, satisfaction, productivity and operational data. Leader rounding. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives. Monitors and analyzes costs, prepares budgets. Evaluations of the staff Works cohesively with all departments to provide quality care. Develops and implements clinical and non-clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with hospital regulatory accrediting and professional guidelines and standards. Collaborates with administration and medical directors to improve service delivery and growth. Monitors and maintains accurate inventory service history and quality control records on all assigned equipment and ensures compliance with daily and periodic maintenance schedules.
