Unit Notes:---8hrs/ day, 5 days/ week (dayshift). Experience in cardiac and peripheral cases preferred. No call required They use GE and Toshiba equipment. They handle 600 cases per month. Daily case load can vary from 5-20, but they try to schedule it to where they are not hit with a lot in one day. Cath Lab handles pre-op and recovery and the Cath Lab Techs handle the monitoring and the RN will be circulating. 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Standard Cath Lab duties. 2. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 year experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS, ACLS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so, how often Are weekends required) 8 hour shifts, Mon-Fri. 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments) n/a 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 5 Beds Pre-op/Recovery, 2 Cath Labs 8.
