We are seeking experienced nurses to provide exceptional care in our Medical Unit during night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Schedule * 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) * Every other weekend and holiday Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. * Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. * Document according to standards of care. * Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. * Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. * Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. * Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, and appropriately escalate to the appropriate chain of command.
