Working at a hospital, GI specialist's office or ambulatory surgery center, you'll collaborate with the gastroenterologist and members of the GI care team. Your responsibilities may include assisting with endoscopic and GI procedures, X-rays, and CT scans, monitoring patient vitals, starting IVs and providing patient education.
