Travel ICU RN - Contract Length: 13 weeks. Shift Requirements: 12 hour shifts, D/N variable. 7p-730a and 7a-730p. Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend. Every other Holiday, as applicable. On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A. Required Certifications: WI RN license and BLS. Minimum Experience: 2+ years Med Surg. Charting Experience: Epic – preferred. Unit Specific Skillset: Excellent assessment skills. Unit Overview (Patient ratio, Bed Size, etc.): 16 beds, nurse patient ratio varies by shift but typically nurse patient ratio typically typically 4-5 on days, 5-6 pm and 6-7 noc. 3 RN days, 3 on pms and 2 on nights. Scrubs : any color. Covid Vaccination required.

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: COPD, CHF, ESRD, Chest Pain, COVID, Pneumonia, HTN, DM, # of Beds: 49. Nurse Patient Ratio: Normal 7:1 Covid 5:1- 3:1. Charting: Cerner. Scrub Color: Navy blue. Areas of Float Support: Tele, Surgical, Covid. Special Procedures: dialysis, chronic Ventilator dependent care.

Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CHF, Chest Pain, Afib/RVR, Arrhythmias, Sepsis, Post Cath Lab, ETOH withdrawal, DKA, GI bleed. Any special procedure done on the unit? Lumbar Puncture, CAPD, Bedside ID, Thoracentesis, Continuous Hemodynamic monitoring. Common Equipment: Remote Telemetry Monitoring from Monitor Room, 12 Lead ECG, Glucose monitor, vapotherm, BiPAP, CPAP. Float to Cardiac TELE, Medical, Ortho, OBS as needed.
