IR patients come to unit post intervention. Patients may have continuous EEG monitoring. ICP's uncontrolled may require a pentobarbital coma. Organ donor patients (BD/DCD). Patient Diagnoses: ICH/SAH, S/P Fall, Cerebral Aneurysm, PVD, Respiratory Failure, S/P MVC, S/P GSW, S/P surgery of any type except open heart or/transplant. Special Equipment: Flo-trak, EKOS, Camino, Artic Sun, Phillips Monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Hill-Rom Self-driving beds, PrismaFlex. Unit uses: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, Voalte phones, PerfectServe. Unit does not accept 1st time travelers, but have on occasion (On occasion we have accepted them. It depends on type of unit they worked in and whether or not they have used our equipment in other places and documentation system.) Orientation: 2 shifts on unit. Scrubs: Navy.
