Travel LPN / LVN - Long-Term Care - $1,618 per week in Rugby, ND - Summary : * Long Term Care RN/LPN provides care to patients with chronic conditions and prolonged illnesses. * Long-term care is a range of services that supports a patient/resident meet their daily needs. * Most long-term care is not medical care, but rather assistance with the basic personal tasks of everyday life called Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as Bathing and dressing. * Reports to Supervisor of Unit. Duties and Responsibilities: * Receives and provides adequate report on all patients. * Assesses, plans and implements client care. * Receives and transcribes doctor’s orders. * Assists with physical examinations, makes round of assigned clients following guidelines of the institution. * Wound care , including identify Stasic Ulcers Administering oxygen, changing dressings. * Inserts and irrigates urinary catheters. * Administers and document Medications Obtains laboratory specimens. * Administers CPR and other emergency procedures as necessary. * Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living Assist with transfer to physical therapy and other Daily activities. Education and Experience Requirements: * RN /LPN license in good standing. * Must have one year of experience in LTC. * Graduate of accredited Nursing School. * Must have current AHA BLS.
