Excellent job for new grad nurses

I worked at Southeastern as a new grad RN in their Pediatric Department. I wanted to train to be a NICU-RN, but when the babies were severely ill, they were sent out to another hospital. I realized I would not get the training or experience needed to be a NICU RN, and I was getting adult patients along with my pediatric patients on the floor. So, I opted to go to a hospital offering Adult ICU/CCU training, but I enjoyed my employment at Southeastern.

Co-workers are like family.

My department, the Float Pool, is probably the best at the hospital. I know that we have the best supervisor. She is so awesome, especially if you are in school. Working at the hospital has opened up opportunities for me and has broadened the horizons of my friendship circle.

An up to date medical facility with cardiac surgery capabilities

I enjoyed my 15 years of full time employment at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton North Carolina. It had a great cultural diversity with a great mix of different races and people.
