Duties and Responsibilities * Efficient management of postoperative care for patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG, including off-pump CABG), cardiac valve repair/replacement (including minimally invasive approaches), surgical treatment of arrhythmias, aortic deficiency. * Proficient interpreting EKG and being part of a Cardiac Code Team. * Observe changes in their patients, analyze charts, change bandages, and communicate effectively with doctors and health care professionals. Education & Experience Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, with current licensure in good standing. * Evidence of current AHA BLS and ACLS required, TNCC preferred. * Evidence of current one year of CVICU experience.
