Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,274 per week in Fort Myers, FL - Summary : * Gastroenterology nurses, are essential members of the healthcare team that prepare patients and assist during procedures for screening, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and/or respiratory disorders. * He or she provide excellent nursing care/treatment of patients with constipation, reflux, chronic diarrhea, food allergies, and ulcers. * Reports to Supervisor of the Unit. Duties and Responsibilities: * Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individual needs, knowledgeable of GI diagnosis, treatment and health education * Ensures high standard of nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Unit, and within company policies and procedures. * Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice. * Responsible for monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care. * Maintains patients and relatives, dignity and privacy and ensuring a friendly environment, and being courteous at all times. * Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and ensuring that confidentiality is respected. * Stores, checks and administers drugs in accordance to hospital policies & procedures. * Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery of patients and other related procedures. * Participates in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and other specialized equipment, following infection control protocols and policy on decontamination at all times. * Keeps accurate records of traceability of all endoscopes and associated equipment. * Ensures safe discharge of all patients from the Endoscopy unit, provides discharge teaching to patient & family member Maintains a safe and clean environment within the clinical area in accordance with established standards and regulations. Education and Experience Requirements: * Current registered nurse licensure in good standing. * One year of recent GI experience in hospital base setting AHA BLS, ACLS required. Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $1,814 per week in Melbourne, FL - Summary : * Home Health RN administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. * This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Nursing Supervisor. * Reports to Nurse Manager of Unit. Duties and Responsibilities: * Demonstrate knowledge of home health regulatory standards and policies of agency. * Complete a thorough nursing assessment on admission. * Initiates the plan of care for SOC (Start of Care) using Medicare OASIS Form. * Completed ROC (resumption of Care) using Medicare OASIS Form Completes RECERT (Recertification of Care) using Medicare OASIS Form Completes DC (Discharge) using Medicare OASIS Form Performs initial evaluation on patient visit, evaluates patient homebound status and re evaluates the patient’s nursing needs on succeeding visits. * Provide services or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill according with the written patient care plan and the signed plan of treatment. * Case Manages all therapies: LPN, PT, OT, ST and CNA. * Prepares clinical and progress notes for each patient visit and summaries of care conferences on his/her patients in a timely manner as per Agency policy. * All paperwork to be turned in over 24 hour period to assure Medicare Billing. * Counsels the patient and family/significant others in meeting nursing and related needs. * Processes orders and notifies physician of patient needs and changes in condition. * Conducts patient care conferences on patient assigned to his/her care. * Is available for on-call duty nights, weekends and holidays, as assigned. Services include advising family caregivers. * Provide patients with information and counseling, and make referrals for other services. * Reports To the Supervisor of the Unit.
